SEASCAPE

The original creative spirit was to explore the concept of seascapes; to bring photographic elements together to create 'realistic' fantastical narratives. As the project progressed a sociological and political dynamic emerged.

Solitary small solitary fantasy island (actually a hand sized smooth rock) emerges in an ocean. Atop is a stone bench on which a parrot sits warding off a circling predatory hawk.

In hues of neutral greens and blues and in the lower two thirds left floats a green corked botte captured in the waves of an ocean.
MESSAGE
Last in this set of images, and likewise an illusion of scale, are small rocks, sea, sky and a few palm trees composited. The finished effect is of a long cliff top ravaged with gigantic stormy Pacific waves.
